I started doing photography in November 2009 with an interest in migratory ducks. My interest soon spread to all wildlife. While waterbirds are my favorite subject, I will now point the camera at almost any subject in the world of nature.
My photographs are usually taken around any type of water, parks, nature preserves, and wildlife refuges. Occasionally I go to a zoo or aviary for some extra variety. All of the photographs are taken hand held, using the available natural light. Each photo is then post-processed to make it look its best.
My aim is for each photograph to be informative or humorous or just plain old interesting!
